Seven Illegal Buildings on Jalan Kampung Bali XXXII Controlled

Seven illegal buildings stood on water channels along Jalan Kampung Bali XXXII RT 02/RW 09, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/8), were demolished by joint officers from PPSU, the Transportation Sub-agency, Water Resources, Satpol PP, Army and Police.

Head of Tanah Abang District, Dwiarti Indriani Utami said the existence of this illegal building violates Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2007 about Public Order.

"We are controlling the illegal buildings to restore the function of social and public facilities," she said.

She added that after this, her party will arrange the drainage and roads at the location.

Head of RW 09 Kampung Bali, Akmam stated the existence of illegal buildings on this channel has been repeatedly reported by residents through the public rapid response channel.

"Residents do not mind illegal buildings on the water channel were demolished," he admitted.
